Quite simply we offer the chance to have a little peace of England to escape to.    Within 30 minutes, the local bus will get you into the centre of York with its fabulous café culture, rich history and busy calendar.   The campsite itself is set in a quiet field just off a no through country lane that runs from the centre of the village.  Looking onto woodland it offers spectacular sunsets and an abundance of wildlife from deer to buzzards.  Please note - The Jefferson Arms pub is currently closed.
